Abstract

Military operations involve not only an effort associated with the maneuvering of combat units, but also high stress on logistics units to meet the demand for logistics classes. This article presents a quantitative optimization model to solve the two-echelon location-routing problem under different demands, called 2E - CLRP. The results obtained are encouraging compared to the 2E - CWLPwTr formulation, even if the optimization of the proposed solution is not certified by the solver. Future lines of research should be oriented to more efficient reformulations, formulations with demand under uncertainty and multi-period models.
