Abstract

The current research seeks to provide an alternative solution to the problema of the armored units of the Army, in relation to the limited portability that exists for crew rifles and cannons replacement of secondary armament while the Leopard 2A4 tank is in operation. In order to achieve the aforementioned, the research was conducted under a quantitative approach. In the
first part, an analytics descriptive methodology was used for the collection and analysis of information, in addition to the description of the problem. Second, the research used systems engineering to understand the requirements needs of the users and to design the system. Finally, a preliminary design of a system for transferring spare barrels for the machine guns and rifles of the crew for the Leopard 2A4 tank, was obtained.
